Paid sustainability internship available – Summer 2020
Dates: June 15 – August 7, 2020 (can be flexible)
Compensation: $3,300 for 9 weeks – taxes will be taken out
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled student who will be returning to school full-time in the Fall
- Attend kick-off event, end of program celebration and two additional professional development trainings during the summer
- Work with SGA to create social media posts and contribute to an article forSGA’s media channels
- Complete a program evaluation during last week of employment
Tasks:
- Develop case studies and short articles about farm to school in IL for social media, newsletters and the Fresh Bites blog on our website with the purpose of education and recruitment
- Write project and program descriptions for promotional pieces
- Regenerate/upgrade the Harvest of the Month website
- Create new pages on the Harvest of the Month website for promotions and partners
- Create a digital Press Kit for promotional purposes
