Rachel Carson Council Fellowship Program: goal is to identify
students with a passion for sustainability and environmental justice and help
them make change on their campuses.
The program is proposal based, so students send us an
idea of a project or a campaign that they want to tackle. The students will
receive a 2,000 dollar stipend over the course of the year, in addition to a
training trip to Washington DC in the summer and year-round support from RCC
staff. Our current class of fellows are
engaged in a number of ambitious different projects such as campaigns for solar
energy and divestment on their campuses. Most campuses have one or two rockstar
students who work hard to make a difference but may not always get recognized
for their efforts; this program is for them!

Furthermore, this spring RCC will be hosting our Capitol
Hill Days. The theme of this lobby event is connecting students to legislators
to share their stories and concerns about the climate crisis. It will be taking
place from March 22 - 24. Funding is available to help bring campus groups to
DC.
The application for the Fellowship program is currently
