Angelic Organics Worker share information

Join our Angelic Organics Packing Team in Exchange for a Vegetable Share

Worker Share Information
Angelic Organics, a Biodynamic, Organic Community Supported Agriculture farm 9 mi SE of Beloit, 18 mi NE of Rockford, is now offering a Worker Share. In exchange for your labor, you will receive a full 3/4‐bushel box of organic, biodynamic vegetables each 4‐hour day that you work. You could be cooking with those vegetables that night!

People who apply and are selected to the Worker Share program will come to the farm for 4 hours weekly to assist with the packing of our vegetable boxes. Starting time will be at 1 pm. This enjoyable and fulfilling activity is a serious commitment of 4 hours per week for 24 weeks beginning in mid‐June and going through Thanksgiving. At this point, we are rearranging our packing days, and I am not sure which days we will pack this year. The pack line is in our open pack barn and temperatures can fluctuate from 100 degrees in August to below freezing temperatures in November. Students, teachers and others that can work only during the summer are also encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to those that can commit to the full season (Minimal age for working in this program is 14).

How to apply
Before applying, please watch our YouTube video of the week 1 pack from 2011. We also suggest you familiarize yourself with our website AngelicOrganics.com and watch our film The Real Dirt on Farmer John.

To apply for the Worker Share program, please email us at apply@angelicorganics.com, indicating Worker Share program in the subject line. Your email should briefly describe why you want to participate in the Worker Share program, if you want to work Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday afternoon, and your contact information. Please indicate if you are available for the full season or what portion of the season.

We will then contact you to set up an interview.
