WorldWide Teach-In on Climate and Justice, set for March 30, 2022. This is a VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP. You can participate from anywhere on the planet. You must be available for group strategy meetings, presentations and on-line discussion Monday every week for 90 minutes, either from 8 PM - 9:30 PM ET or from 11 AM - 12:30 PM ET (New York time). In addition, you must commit to an additional three hours of group and individual work each week. The internship begins on January 24, 2022 and runs through April 4, 2022 for a total of 10 weeks. The internship is not paid. English language proficiency is required. And yet, we still have both the time and the tools to change the future. The work that we all do together over the next year, five years, ten years, will profoundly shape the world to come. In 2022, help us engage half a million students, with their teachers, in serious dialog about what we can and must do to stabilize the climate.
Gain valuable practical experience working with a team of students from across the world in the development, execution and assessment of a social media campaign in support of a global climate education project, TheIntern teams will design, deliver, and evaluate a social media campaign in support of The WorldWide Teach-In on Climate and Justice. Guest speakers and discussion will focus on the theory and practice of using social media to engage audiences in climate action. Interns who complete the program will receive a certificate, and can request letters of recommendation from Dr. Eban Goodstein, Director of the Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability, which is the organization sponsoring the internship.
