Franklin Creek Conservation Association in Franklin Grove, IL is a non-profit Friends group of the Franklin Creek State Natural Area dedicated to caring for this area for current and future generations. We will be putting on volunteer workdays the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month beginning April 3 and ending late Fall. Likely tasks will be pulling weeds, collecting trash, harvesting seed, and cutting down brush. Please send this information to anyone you think would be interested in joining. Participants should sign-up in advance to ensure a slot on the workday and fill out volunteer waivers before joining. Anytime the group is in close proximity they will be required to wear a face mask.
