As in 2020, Sustainability Services at Waste Management is going to be seeking applicants for the scholarship(s) which may be awarded in 2021. They did have 1 NIU applicant in 2020, so they look forward to another one or more in 2021!
Again, Jennifer Moore, the Sustainability Services Project Manager, is part of a National/ international group, Alliance of Hazardous Materials professionals, with a local Chicago-area chapter. For more information, see the AHMP Chicagoland Chapter website (ahmpchicago.org).
Attached is the program information for the scholarship that they will be awarding in 2021. In 2020, they awarded 4 scholarships, amounts ranging from $750 to $1500.
They also are involved in the Chicagoland EH & S conference which has been held annually in September at the NIU – Naperville campus; they’d like to let students be aware of the conference.
