They are looking to work with geography students with interests in community based watershed management, rural geography, agriculture and land use. There is mixed research methods used - qualitative research and GIS. The research could include: interviews with land managers and conservationists, archival research in the history of land use, or GIS and modeling of erosion risks and sites for potential restoration.
