Forestry and Fishery Internship Opportunity

Alex Horvath works for Friends of the Forest Preserves, and this year they are offering two types of career immersion summer paid internships! These programs place people who are early in their conservation career alongside Forest Preserves of Cook County staff to both gain valuable practical skills and network with many people within the Chicago conservation community. It's an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to gain more experience in fishery or forest management or to see if conservation is the field for them. They have one position open with our fisheries department and ten positions open within our forestry resource management crews located throughout Cook County. These are open to everyone, not just college students.
