Next Friday we’ll be welcoming Dr. Andrew Rumbach from the Urban Institute for a presentation titled Is Land Use Planning a Barrier to Climate Justice? This is a co-sponsored talk between Public Administration and Environmental Studies. The calendar link is here and I’ve attached a flyer. This is important work that exemplifies the intersection of equity, environment, and economy at the heart of sustainability. Following the talk later in the afternoon, Dr. Rumbach has
also agreed to offer a seminar for early career faculty and students—especially
graduate students who might be considering non-university research careers.
