The Center for Latino and Latin American Studies and the Latino Resource Center would like to personally invite you to an open informational forum on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 2 pm-3 pm at the Peters Campus Life Building room 100.
The Latino Heritage Internship
Program (LHIP) provides professional
opportunities within the National Park Service. Thus, in this informational
forum, you will be able to gain more information about what LHIP has
to offer and have the opportunity to start a partnership that would specifically
hold opportunities for NIU students. The LHIP Program
Manager, Vivian Meade, is an NIU alumnus and is very excited to
share. This past summer, NIU had 3 students as part of this
internship program; Vivian and LHIP were so thrilled with our
student's progress that they wanted to come back to recruit more NIU
students!
