We (belately) welcome Enrique Orosco, who joins as CFPAC's Data and Communications. Specialist. Enrique previously supported in planning the 2022 Chicago Food Justice Summit and the COVID-19 Food Access Mapping project. Stef Funk, who previously filled the Communications Specialist role, will now be the lead coordinator of CFPAC's networks and main organizer around productive landscape access.
Now Hiring: Operations Director; Part-Time Summer Interns
We are hiring an Operations Director to support our operations management: lead and execute Finance/Accounting, Human Resources functions (including developing systems for staff culture and retention), and build organizational systems to support all staff.
This summer, we are piloting an internship program that focuses on creating equitable entryways into the fields of food security and sovereignty, environmental and economic justice. Interns will support either of two existing programs: productive landscapes research or equitable food access outreach.
