For any rising seniors (i.e. graduate after Sept 22, 2021) with a 3.0 or higher, either grad or undergrad, you should check out this program: https://www.usaconservation.org/epic-fish-and-wildlife-service/ (scroll down to Directorate Fellows Program). Applications due 15 January. It's for an 11-week long summer fellowship project, that after you complete and graduate, you could be directly appointed without competition to a full time position.
