Bali G20 Summit-Focused Hybrid Conference

There is a call for proposals that was recently crafted by Dan McCoy, Dean Brinkmann and Dr. Eric Jones for a Bali G20 Summit-focused hybrid conference scheduled for January 2023 in Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia. This conference is a collaborative effort between NIU and UWM in Indonesia, the site of the meeting.

Cultural Sisterhood Registration Closing Soon!

This event is for students and there will be a student-led social to follow. The last day of registration is on 9/16!

 

The Keynote Speaker for the CSS this year is Christina Brown! From Long Beach, CA, Christina is a lifestyle & activist content creator who uses her platform to bring light onto issues surrounding misogynoir, sexual assault, violence against women, queerphobia, and racism.  She uses current events, pop culture & comedic satire to discuss said issues.

 

Joining as presenters from NIU, we have Dra. Sandy López, Dr. Anne Marie Edwards, Dr. Linh Nguyen, and a student-leader along with NIU alumnae, Trinity Felton and Bettie Mattison-Farris M.S.Ed.  I encourage you to read all of their bios on our Facebook or Instagram.
