Costa Rica has achieved renown for its environmental policy, often in the spotlight for its efforts towards carbon neutrality and conservation. The award-winning Sustainable Action Costa Rica program goes behind the curtain to explore this phenomenon in depth with 8 days of NGO visits, adventures, and guided discussions. The program takes travelers through Alajuela, Puerto Viejo, and Bri Bri, with the option of adding a week of Spanish Immersion at the beach before/after the program dates. You'll visit sustainable farms, local community development projects, nature and wildlife conservation initiatives, and more!
