This is a private screening of the documentary "A beautiful thing" followed by a panel discussion. As you can see, the panel includes some very inspirational leaders.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Obama Foundation and CHAMPS, a mentoring organization that NIU students and Dr. Mooney are consulting with this semester. They do important and very impactful work! And their newest team member is a Jacob Morgan, an NIU grad.
Dr. Mooney would love it if you could pass this along to your students or whomever you think would be interested in coming to this event. It would be great to have a strong NIU turnout as I think it could be incredibly impactful for our students.
