Peer Academic Coaches
Are you looking for a campus job but have not found one? Do your peers ask you to help them find resources on campus? This opportunity is for you. Apply to become a Peer Academic Coach (PAC). A PAC is an undergraduate student who has been academically successful at Northern Illinois University. Peer Academic Coaches share student-to-student NIU-specific tips, host academic success workshops, and provide general academic support in a safe environment.
Strong candidates must have a proven record of academic success and be committed to providing guidance and support to your fellow peers. Peer Academic Coaches may work with a particular unit (e.g., cultural resource center or academic college) or may be supervised centrally. Apply at http://go.niu.edu/PeertoPeer by December 11, 2020.
