YSE Admissions Event for Inclusivity: Envisioning Space for Underrepresented Student Groups

A message from the Yale School of the Environment:

The Yale School of the Environment will be hosting Admissions Event for Inclusivity: Envisioning Space for Underrepresented Student Groups on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM EST for prospective students to learn more about our graduate programs, application process, and the student experience from underrepresented student groups at YSE. We invite you to please share this event with students who you may feel would be interested in attending or feel free to provide us with the names and emails of students that you would like to be included on the invite.

The YSE community strives to recruit and maintain individuals with multi-faceted perspectives and experiences to aid in the cultivation of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community. We are committed to providing all students support during the admissions process, once they join our campus community, and beyond as alumni of YSE. The Office of Admissions will be joined by Dr. Dorceta Taylor, ’85 M.F.S., ’91 Ph.D, Professor of Environmental Justice; Dr. Gerald Torres, Professor of Environmental Justice;  Dr. Narasimha Rao, Assistant Professor of Energy Systems; Dr. Thomas Easley, Assistant Dean of Community and Inclusion as well as current students from underrepresented backgrounds to provide insight into becoming a valued member of our campus.
