Join Seven Generations Ahead (SGA), a sustainability
non-profit, working throughout Illinois to build healthy and sustainable
communities. Depending on skills and interest, you will have the
opportunity to:
- Promote and develop community solar projects
- Plan a GreenTown conference
- Refine and distribute a tool-kit for schools to help
them avoid food waste
- Support school lunch room zero waste launch days
- Research national policies and programs around wasted
food
- Develop a consumer awareness campaign to guide
strategic work
- Expand sustainability practices to civic buildings in
Lake County
