Graduate Research Opportunities

Our research group, led by Dr. Peleg Kremer and Dr. Kabindra Shakya at the department of Geography & the Environment at Villanova University, is recruiting graduate students at the Masters level interested in studying fine scale spatial patterns in urban air pollution and the relationship between urban structure and ecosystem services.
Our project, briefly outlined here, is supported by the NSF GSS program. Accepted students will pursue an MS degree in Environmental Science and design thesis projects aligned with project parameters. Full funding and travel allowances are available. Additional competitive funding opportunities exist within the department. Background in environmental science and/or GIS and remote sensing are highly desirable.

Interested students should review the website of the graduate program in Environmental Science for program and application information as well as Dr. Kremer and Dr. Shakya’s webpages.

Informal inquiries can be directed to Dr. Kremer at peleg.kremer@villanova.edu and Dr. Shakya at kabindra.shakya@villanova.edu
