Environmental
Technician – Madison, Wisconsin Office
The Madison,
Wisconsin office of Leggette, Brashears and Graham, Inc., is seeking an
Environmental Technician with 0 to 5 years of experience. An Associates or
higher degree in an environmental science related field is preferred.
The position
requires routine travel for work at various sites throughout the Midwest and
occasionally at sites nationwide. Field
work may include soil/sediment/groundwater sample collection, construction observation/contractor
management, maintenance of remediation systems, and inspection/surveying
activities for environmental site assessments.
Office duties may include data reduction/evaluation,
maintenance/calibration of a variety of field instrumentation, and providing
assistance with preparation of technical reports. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word,
Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD is desirable. The candidate must
have strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
