Hello fellow females in STEM!
We hope you had an enjoyable summer! As some of you may
know, WISTEM is a group of female faculty members in STEM, here at NIU, who
meet to network and discuss important issues. We are interested in
kick-starting a group for undergraduate students and graduate students in STEM
who may meet informally once per month to do the same. We would like to touch
base with everyone as we have several potential events planned for this coming
school year, such as inviting female scientists to speak at a colloquium.
We were hoping to meet for coffee on Friday, September
11th, at 2 pm in Founder's Cafe in the basement of the library, to discuss
these ideas and get to know each other a little better.
If you cannot make the meeting but are interested in
attending, please contact us using the emails listed below.
We hope to see you there!
