Intern of the Month and Intern of the Year Scholarship
Awards: Career Services acknowledges
outstanding NIU students who have completed a career-related work experience.
Seven internship or co-op students are selected throughout the scholarship
award year, January to December 2015, as Intern of the Month. At the
completion of the scholarship year, three of these seven students will
be selected as NIU Intern of the Year scholarship award recipients.
The deadline for the summer 2015 awards is 4:30 p.m.
on Monday, September 21, 2015. A
letter describing the application procedures and the documents required to
apply are attached to this e-mail. Please forward this information to students
who may qualify for the Intern of the Month awards. Career Services
typically notifies students automatically who have reported their internship or
co-op work experiences to us. However, we are transitioning to a new reporting
system this semester and are not able to notify students directly; therefore,
your help is especially needed in spreading the word.
