Seven Generations Ahead Paid/Unpaid Internship Opportunities

Paid Position:
This 8 week position is funded by Tyson Foods. Eligible students will need to show proof of full-time enrollment in the fall of 2019. Selected hire must attend an orientation and three professional development opportunities (provided by Tyson) during their internship.
Duties will include researching and writing up case studies on Farm to School in IL for education and recruitment purposes. Marketing and outreach, communications, and possibly mapping projects also may be needed. Strong writing skills a must.

Unpaid position:
This position is very flexible with a minimum of 15 hours/week over a minimum of 10 weeks this summer.  Dates and days are flexible. Internship may include gaining experience planning and implementing a large scale (4500 attendees) zero waste event, mapping projects, Community Solar support, working with composting policy, education and infrastructure, as well as research and writing projects
