Summer Institute on Sustainability and Energy

August 4th-17th

Now in its 6th year, the program provides 30-35 qualifying students a two-week opportunity to explore fascinating topics with other participants from around the world. This year, the program theme will explore the energy/water nexus.

There is no program fee to attend. All participants are provided lodging. Many are offered travel stipends to help them get to Chicago. 

Applicants should head to our website (sise.uic.edu) to find out more about the program. When ready to apply, fill out an online application, and submit two letters of recommendation and a resume. 

Applications are due by July 1. Applicants will be notified of their status shortly thereafter. The program runs from August 4-17.
