Antibiotic Water Contamination Research Opportunity

Seeking an undergraduate with a strong work ethic to carry out antibiotic water contamination research. Research will begin as soon as possible and can count towards independent study credit.

Must be comfortable with basic excel and algebra,  creating precise dilutions using a pipette and scale, and performing time sensitive tests. Training will be provided and project will be overseen by Tia Willens.

Research centers around applying IDEXX Dairy Snap kits to test for antibiotic residues in water. These kits are currently used in the dairy industry to monitor antibiotics in milk.

If interested, please contact Tia Willens at for more information.
