VEGETATIVE MANAGEMENT
Environmental consulting firm (30 people) located
in Oak Brook, Illinois has an immediate opening for a mid-level
environmental specialist/biologist. B.S. in Biology or Environmental
Studies (Natural Resources may be considered pursuant to
qualifications) is required. The primary responsibilities will involve
habitat restoration. Herbicide/pesticide applicator license is
required with a minimum of three years’ experience. Field work will
involve leading a crew that will be performing herbicide application
and manual removal of Invasive species. This position requires the
ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. Experience with wetland
delineations, plant identification (emphasis on wetland plants), tree
identification, and biological stream surveys all positive factors in
consideration. Firm specializes in wetlands, stream surveys,
wastewater treatment design, hazardous waste management, air,
groundwater, and transportation-related environmental issues (noise,
